A GUIDED STORY / EXPERIENCE MEETS POSSIBILITY

The next idea starts with what experience already knows.

Deep craft and new tools belong in the same room. Scroll through how hard-won skill can become a useful next step.

01 / EXPERIENCE

Practice carries knowledge a drawing can’t.

The last master knows the material, the tolerances, the small signs that tell you when something is right. That judgment is a powerful starting point.

02 / MAKE IT VISIBLE

CAD gives an idea a form others can work with.

Measurement, modeling and review turn experience into something people can inspect, test, improve and carry forward.

03 / ADD A NEW TOOLKIT

A new generation sees another way through.

Curiosity, code, scanning and automation open paths that used to take more time or stay out of reach. The new tools build on the skill that came before.

04 / MOVE IT FORWARD

GO3D connects the knowledge to the next action.

We bring capture, engineering, software and operations together. Automation handles repeatable steps; people guide the exceptions and important decisions.

SYSTEMS ARCHITECTURE

Built to connect.
Designed for control.

The value is in the handoff. Connect physical assets, reliable records, engineering tools and customer experiences through a clear operating model.

Every integration needs a source of truth, an owner and a defined permission boundary. Select a layer to see its role.

01 / PHYSICAL WORLD

Capture a useful signal.

Scans, equipment IDs, field observations and condition checks give the digital system a grounded starting point.

Reference architecture · integrations are scoped and verified per project.
A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM EDDIE

Why cybernetics is
the core of GO3D.

I’ve spent my career connecting what we measure with what we make and how we work. Cybernetics gives that approach a name: using feedback to guide a system. We capture what is happening, compare it with what should happen, take a useful action, and check the result.

At GO3D, that is the thread connecting 3D scanning, engineering, software and operations. My goal is simple: give people better information, help them make better decisions, and keep improving the outcome.

From field measurement to connected systems

My work in CAD and design began in 1997. Surveying and theme-park scanning taught me that accurate measurements become valuable when the next person can use them. Later, working across metrology, product development, technical training and business operations, I kept seeing the same challenge: how do we connect the tools, the information and the people doing the work?

That is why cybernetics sits at the center of GO3D. A scan compared with a design, an inspection that changes the next operation, or an equipment return that triggers a review all follow a feedback loop. We measure, compare, act and verify. The result informs the next decision.

Systems architecture defines the connections. Automation carries out repeatable steps. People set the goals, judge the evidence and handle the exceptions. This is the practical thinking behind GO3D: keep the digital system connected to physical reality, and keep human judgment at its center.

Skills I bring to a project

  • Capture and measurement: terrestrial and mobile laser scanning, laser trackers, portable CMMs, survey control and field-to-office workflows.
  • Engineering data: point-cloud processing, scan-to-CAD reconstruction, as-built documentation and dimensional comparison.
  • Tools: Geomagic Design X, Rhino, SpatialAnalyzer, Inspire, PolyWorks, FARO SCENE, Leica Cyclone, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
  • People and operations: technical demonstrations, training, project management, equipment rentals, CRM implementation and customer support. English and Spanish.

My independent businesses have also included retail outfitting and fishing charters—hands-on experience with inventory, teams, customer service and day-to-day operations.

Education and knowledge sharing

Aircraft engineering technology studies at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 2000–2002; business management and economics coursework at Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. Technical training certifications include SpatialAnalyzer and Inspire.
